Credits & metering

What an agent turn costs and where it is debited.

Agent turns are paid from the store's wallet — the same credits the gen API debits, held in the central incore store and topped up under Settings › Plan › Credits.

What is charged#

Surface Metering
Assistant turns — every runner (code, web-builder, design-system, schema-builder, template, element) Metered server-side per turn: the tokens the turn used are priced at the picked model's own rates (cached input cheaper, output and reasoning at the output rate, generated images per image), a margin is applied, and the result is debited in credits once the turn ends. A turn is refused with an empty-wallet error before it starts. The rates per model are on Settings › Plan › Pricing; the cost of each turn shows under its reply.
POST /api/gen/* and /generative/* Fixed prices per call — see Credits.
MCP tool calls Free — they are ordinary API calls under your own token; only the paid gen/* routes would ever debit, and no MCP tool calls them.

The wallet#

One wallet per store, on Production — CRM & Studio pins the credits shop to the production wallet whatever environment you are browsing, so a Demo session cannot mint or spend anything separate. The balance is readable through promo/credits/value and the ledger through promo/credits/records (see Promo).

1 credit = $0.01 is a convention of the shop and the invoices; the backend only sees integers.
