Node entry point & versioning

The Node-only entry and how the package is versioned.

Node-only entry point#

DropHttpClient (the Node https implementation of RequestClient) is deliberately not re-exported from the root barrel โ€” it would drag Node's https into browser bundles that import the barrel transitively. Import it from the dedicated subpath instead of deep-importing into lib/:

import {DropHttpClient, fileSource} from 'drop-core-sdk/node';

fileSource(path, {name?, type?}) is the Node byte source for Files.uploadLarge / resumeUpload โ€” it reads one chunk at a time, so a 1 GB file is never in memory (it needs fs, hence this subpath).

The subpath is a root-level node.js/node.d.ts shim; the package intentionally declares no exports map, so existing deep imports into lib/ keep resolving too.

Versioning#

Any behaviour change bumps the minor version, breaking changes bump the major (see version in package.json). Downstream workspaces diff this instead of diffing the built lib/.
