Updating

Checking which build you have and refreshing the vendor folder.

Checking the current build#

The published build's identity, without downloading the zip:

curl "https://firebasestorage.googleapis.com/v0/b/drop-core-admin.firebasestorage.app/o/vendor%2Fmanifest.json?alt=media&token=41079b70-dbf2-4fb6-9508-82eefc0f8a27"

Compare packages versions and builtAt with your local vendor/manifest.json — a version bump means behaviour changed and you should update.

Updating an existing project#

vendor/ is the refresh unit — replace it wholesale, never merge or hand-edit. Everything outside vendor/ (your app code, configs, .env, AGENTS.md, CLAUDE.md, RULES.md) is owned by your project and never touched by an update.

From your project folder — macOS / Linux:

curl -L -o vendor-core.zip "https://firebasestorage.googleapis.com/v0/b/drop-core-admin.firebasestorage.app/o/vendor%2Fvendor-core.zip?alt=media&token=41079b70-dbf2-4fb6-9508-82eefc0f8a27"
unzip -q vendor-core.zip
rm -rf vendor && mv vendor-core/vendor vendor
rm -rf vendor-core vendor-core.zip
npm install

Windows PowerShell:

Invoke-WebRequest "https://firebasestorage.googleapis.com/v0/b/drop-core-admin.firebasestorage.app/o/vendor%2Fvendor-core.zip?alt=media&token=41079b70-dbf2-4fb6-9508-82eefc0f8a27" -OutFile vendor-core.zip
tar -xf vendor-core.zip
Remove-Item -Recurse -Force vendor; Move-Item vendor-core/vendor vendor
Remove-Item -Recurse -Force vendor-core, vendor-core.zip
npm install

Check vendor/manifest.json afterwards to confirm the build you expected.
